CONFERENZA DI TOM HENRY SU LUCA SIGNORELLI

CITTÀ DI CASTELLO – In occasione del 500° anniversario della morte di Luca Signorelli, il Rotary Club Città di Castello, con il patrocinio del Comune di Città di Castello ed in collaborazione della Diocesi tifernate, organizza per venerdì 12 maggio una conferenza del prof. Tom Henry, docente di Storia dell’Arte all’Università del Kent e massimo esperto mondiale del grande pittore.

La conferenza, dal titolo “Luca Signorelli – Famosissum pictor in tota Italia”, si terrà alle ore 18 nel Salone Gotico del Museo del Duomo.

L’evento è incluso nel calendario di appuntamenti che il Comune di Città di Castello ha organizzato per celebrare il cinquecentenario della morte del grande Maestro.

A seguire curriculum vitae del prof. Tom Henry.

Formerly Professor of History of Art at the University of Kent and now Emeritus Professor. He was Director of the University’s School of Classical and Renaissance Studies in Rome, and is a world-renowned curator and expert on Raphael, Signorelli and renaissance art in central Italy, with extensive experience of institutional management and of working in Italy, including as the owner of a small business in Umbria.
